TICKETS

Many events at the Tamworth Country Music Festival are free. Ticket prices for others are between $25 and $50. Tickets can be bought online at tcmf.com.au, by phoning Tourism Tamworth on 6767 5300, at the Tamworth Visitor Information Centre, Tamworth Regional Council building and the Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre.

ACCOMMODATION

Many venues are already booked out, so check before you go. The caravan or tent might be a good option. There's a comprehensive list of options at tcmf.com.au or call Tourism Tamworth 6767 5300.

The Hunter and Central Coast have a good contingent of performers going, including the following:

Friday, January 16: Grant Walmsley and the Agents of Peace, The Albert Marquee, 7.30pm.

Saturday, January 17: Bog Pigott, The Pub, Tamworth, 4pm. Johnny Green's Blues Cowboys, The Albert Marquee, 4pm.

Sunday, January 18: Dean Johnston, Kaylah Anne and Todd Stewart in the Toyota Star Maker grand final, Toyota Country Theatre, 12.30pm.

Monday, January 19: Mark Wells , pictured, Toyota Country Theatre, 7pm.

Tuesday, January 20: Morgan Evans and Adam Harvey, Toyota Country Theatre, 7.30pm.

Wednesday, January 21: Felicity Urquhart with special guest Don Walker of Cold Chisel, Capitol Theatre, 8pm.

Friday, January 23: Kirsty Lee Akers album launch, Family Hotel, 4pm.

Sunday, January 25: Catherine Britt, pictured, West Tamworth League Club, 4.30pm.
